Christina Grimmie’s shooter, Kevin Loibl was apparently obsessed with the singer and told people that he wanted Christina to be his wife.

Loibl, 27, was a Best Buy worker who invested in a number of cosmetic procedures like hair transplant and laser eye surgery so he could impress her. He even turned vegan and tried to lose weight.

According to his former workers, he constantly listened to Christina Grimmie and kept telling them that he wanted her to be his wife. He also claimed to have played online games with her and that he met her in a concert in March.

So why did he kill her? His colleagues say that Loibl became furious when pictures surfaced online of Grimmie with record producer Stephen Rezza.

On another note, Christina’s mentor, Adam Levine will be paying for her funeral, including her mother’s travel expenses. Her home town in New Jersey also held a candlelight vigil on Monday night to honour her.

Loibl killed himself after being tackled by Christina’s brother Marcus, who tried to stop the attack on his sister.
