Probably following in the direction of the Apple and Samsung smartwatches, Touch N Go has introduced the “Time Traveller” as a new method of cashless payment.
All you have to do is tap the watch on the reader as you drive by any toll or while you’re at a train station, although car owners might still find the Smart Tag faster and more efficient.
That’s pretty much all it does, a watch on the outside and a Touch N Go card on the inside–with no access to e-mails or Facebook. To reload to watch, just head to your nearest Touch N Go kiosks or center and key in your desired amount.
The TimeTraveller is available at Touch N Go Hubs at KL Sentral and Bangsar South for RM239, or on 11street for RM222.
