DBKL, or the Kuala Lumpur City Hall is planning to set up a Food Truck Alley near Jalan Sultan Ismail by the Klang River. It will be the first of its kind in the city and will act as a complement to the River of Life rejuvenation project.
The Food Truck Alley will be equipped with water, electricity and water disposal systems for the convenience of operators. As of now, its exact location hasn’t been pinpointed.
The River of Life Project is an effort to clean up, beautify and develop a 10.7km stretch of Klang River that runs through the city. The main aim is to turn it into a waterfront area for leisure and business. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2016 but progress remains slow.
We’re pretty sure the Food Truck Alley would be fun and exciting addition to the bustling food paradise that is Kuala Lumpur! 😀
