Long flights are incredibly hard to endure, especially if plagued by turbulence.
A recent Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight en route to KLIA from London not only experienced severe turbulence, it also caused 34 people onboard to be injured.
The flight, MH1, experienced the turbulence while flying over the Bay of Bengal. A brief moment of turbulence caused both passengers and crew to sustain minor injuries.
However, a medical team was on standby as the plane arrived at the KLIA around 6.10 pm to treat passengers and members of the crew who were injured.
MAS has issued an apology for any inconvenience caused by this weather event.
