With any relationship, trust is really important and if you don’t worry about each other getting up to no good then your marriage has pretty much made it. You don’t have to check each other’s phone and if you do, you know it’s because you need to send yourself a picture from his photo album. - You respect one another
Even during the most heated arguments, you will never ever disrespect each other. That genuine mutual respect you have for one another will refrain you from calling each other names and saying things you don’t mean in the heat of a fight. - You recognize the bad days
Marriage is not always sunshine and peachy times. There are days when you feel like strangling each other and can hardly stand the sight of one another, but you both get that this is just part and parcel of any relationship, especially marriage. You know that even if you can’t get along today, tomorrow you’ll love each other even more. - You love spending time with each other
Even after years of marriage, quality time together is still very important to you. When you’re able to take a break from work, the kids, and make time for one another, you know that you’re both valued by the other.
