After 10 years together, YouTube stars Jesse Wellens and Jeana Smith of PrankvsPrank have announced their split, breaking the hearts of their 9 million-strong followers. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of their infamous masterful pranks..
In an emotional vlog titled “A New Chapter”, the stars told their fans that they are taking a break from their channel and each other.
“Everybody thinks everything’s perfect… and it’s really not at all,” Smith said in the clip. “Everybody has problems, everybody has issues and we choose not to put that in the videos usually.”
Jesse will be moving to New York City and Jeana will remain in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 33-year-olds cited their YouTube careers and daily vlogging as the cause of their breakup.
A few days after announcing their breakup, Wellens revealed on Twitter that he believes he has a teenage daughter whom he has never met after giving her up for adoption. The tweets have now been deleted.
“We never met and its killing me. It’s a long and crazy story. I need to get off my chest and find her,” he wrote on Twitter, adding the next day, “I feel like if I send this energy out onto the Internet about my daughter I might actually be able to find her. She was adopted. Family in NYC.”
“Her name is Luchia. 13 years old,” he mentioned.
