It was an alluring affair as some of Kuala Lumpur’s top fashion editors, industry insiders and guests gathered at the Suria KLCC concourse for ALDO’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection showcase on April 23. The international retailer for footwear and accessories featured some of its latest this season, presented in five themes – Sunshine Yellow, Second Skin, Rainbow Splash, Best Practice, and Business Class.
As the models walked down the runway, our eyes were instantly drawn to the stand-out pieces showcased, like the block-heeled sandals, strappy numbers with tassels, neutral espadrilles, preppy oxfords in a lively colour palette of pastels, tan hues, and more. Aside from footwear, the models were decked out in bags, hats, watches and fashion jewellery from ALDO.
Other surprises set for the guests included a shoe-drobe featuring the latest styles of the season, a photo booth with instant prints and a social media contest. Through the showcase, ALDO encourages everyone to celebrate their individuality and discover their personal styles while aiming to stay fashion forward.
