It’s true, DiGi is indeed the smarter choice, even for a workplace.

The telco company recently has announced a new policy that allows its female employees to take up to six-months fully paid maternity leave. This new policy has been in effect since January 1 this year, and is the first of its kind in Malaysia.

“We are extremely proud to institute the new global six-month standard maternity leave here in Malaysia. It is our goal to attract and retain the best talent, male or female, and we are confident that the revised maternity leave policy will make Digi not only a very attractive place to work, but also a place in which women can build careers, continue to fill the ranks of our leadership and play a key role in supporting their families.” DiGi’s chief executive officer, Albern Murty said.

Good on you, DiGi!
