When opera singer Cristina Ramos went on stage in on Spain’s Got Talent in her demure black dress, the judges expected nothing more than a melodious aria from her.
The 37-year old singer did just that. But halfway through her aria, a heavy guitar riff interrupted her performance. She appeared to be confused for a few seconds, before ripping out her long black dress to reveal her rocker’s outfit, and burst into Highway to Hell by AC/DC, sending the entire crowd into a roar. Even the judges got to their feet!
Although she could have worked more on learning the lyrics, the thunderous applause and standing ovation she received even convinced the judges to tap on the Golden Buzzer, meaning Ramos instantly moved to the next round.
