Lily May Mac, or Lily Macanpinlac, is a popular Filipino-Australian model who gets paid for product endorsements and all sorts of other related advertorials on Instagram. There’s no doubt that this 21-year-old is drop dead gorgeous, thanks to her sharp facial features, and her 1.6 million followers would surely agree.
However, the poor model has recently been tormented by crazy fans of famous K-pop boy band EXO after a member of the band, Park Chanyeol, followed her on Instagram.
The online bullying and harassment started soon after when EXO fans (EXO-L) started leaving nasty comments on the model’s photos, mocking her looks, accusing her of getting plastic surgery and calling her a “b*tch”. She also got sworn at, with several EXO fans commenting, “F*ck you Lily”.
A group of them even spread rumours that the model had spoken poorly of Chanyeol, demanding her to unfollow the K-pop star.
Macanpinlac posted on Instagram in response to the attacks: “I have not said anything bad about EXO-L’s or Chanyeol (I’ve never met/talked to him). Please don’t believe these stories that aren’t true. Also no I did not undergo plastic surgery. Oh and I’ll be in Osaka on Friday!”
Honestly, we feel so bad for her. Cyberbullying is never right, and we can only imagine how the model must feel.
