The Agua Del Sol is to mark the 24th incarnation of Escada’s well-known limited edition summer fragrances that are must-haves for every Escada collector.
With its fun, fruity scent, the fragrance has top notes of refreshingly crisp nashi pear granita and icy raspberry sorbet, topped with zests of Italian citrus fruits and touches of energising pink peppercorn that’ll remind you of your favourite drink to have while lounging by the beach.
The golden velvety cream notes of apricot nectar with delicate rose petals to match the fruity cocktail blend. Warm notes come from a blend of Tonka bean, sandalwood and white musk cream as well as apricot nectar that’ll give the impression of sun-kissed skin.
The design and illustration this year is the classic flacon shape, shown in a mellow yellow tone and dreamy sea blue, with detailed, colorful motif that is inspired by the flora and fauna.
The outer packaging shows the concept of enjoying life’s pleasures under the sun, with Escada’s summer fragrance girl soaking up the sun and the beauty around her amidst tropical flowers and the deep blue sea.
“I was inspired by name, Agua del Sol, as well as the fragrance notes, which brought to mind images of exotic locations, fresh colors and the longing we all feel for the sun,” noted Anja Kroencke, fashion illustrator. “To capture this feeling and bring it to life, I created a girl that is happy, content with herself, and peaceful, but also full of life and a magnetic energy. She is taking a break from her life and enjoying being on the beach, surrounded by flowers and fruits, and feeling free.”
