So, have you always wanted to learn photography but the mere thought of being in a room full of testosterone charged men focused on shooting leggy, skimpily clad models often leave you feeling awkward? Before you decide that just perhaps, photography isn’t a good career option, hold that thought!
Introducing Bloom Workshops and the four gorgeous and spunky ladies behind it. The idea of organizing workshops for females by females came about when Grace Tan, Asther Lau, Anna-Rina and Fiona Lim decided that we girls needed a learning environment that was both friendly and approachable. Bloom aims to provide an enjoyable and friendly environment for females as they share with you through the perks and lows of being a female photographer.
You get to learn everything from starting up your photography business to interacting with clients to photographing couples and children as well as post processing your images.
Their first workshop will be held in March next year in Kuala Lumpur at only RM700 for early birds who register by 31 January 2012. The closing date for registrations is on the 28th of February 2012. To tempt you further, they’ve also roped in sponsors from Canon, Laura Mercier, Schmidt Marketing, WCA Fine Arts, Simplr and Kelly Moore who will fill up your goody bags and provide prizes for lucky draws.
