As a kid, this game show creeped us out so much! The Legends of The Hidden Temple is making a comeback, but with a slight twist. It will be made into a television movie, and Olmec, as well as the Red Jaguars, Blue Barracudas, Green Monkeys, Orange Iguanas, Purple Parrots and Silver Snakes will be back. If you’re NOT a ’90s kid, all this may sound like gibberish to you.
The concept of the game show has inspired this fictional movie, which follows three siblings who are forced to survive dangerous obstacles. Nickelodeon will be introducing to the new generation the hidden secrets of the Olmec Temple, but there’s no word on whether or not former host Kirk Fogg will be back.
Last month, Fogg pretty much destroyed our childhood by revealing that there was a man behind Olmec’s face. Also, the shows’ low budget was the unfortunate reason why only 30 pairs of kids won the game.
This will surely be a trip down memory lane for us!
