By this coming Wednesday (2nd March) at noon, five more highways will go cashless. Take note of these highways – Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas), Western KL Traffic Dispersal Link System (SPRINT), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), Kajang-Seremban Expressway (Lekas) and Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor (Latar).
All toll fare collections on these roads will be done via SmartTag or Touch ‘n Go only. Malaysia Highway Concessionaires Association vice president Sazally Saidi said motorists who use the Lekas highway before noon that Wednesday could still pay cash if they exited before the strike of midnight.
107,000 Touch ‘n Go cards will also be distributed, he said. Users will only have to pay RM5 reload in order to receive the card. There will also be a new Smart Tag at RM99 and a 10% rebate for Class 1 vehicles from 2nd March to April 30.
Take note, guys!
