Step aside, strobing! There’s a new makeup technique in town and it’s pretty convenient!
Dominic Skinner, a senior makeup artist from MAC invented the term ‘chroming’ herself when she used the newly released MAC x Mariah Carey collaboration lipstick in the shade All I Want on the temples of her cheek rather than her lips.
The new trend is to create focus on the fact that some makeup products can be a multi-purpose makeup application. If you’re going for a look with nude lips and dewy, high-lighted skin… you can do it with only one product!
With the help of MAC’s Strobe Cream, all you need to do is to apply the lipstick on to your cheekbones, brow bones, nose, cupid’s bow and blend away! Do not worry if you couldn’t get your hands on the limited edition lipsticks because the same technique can be applied by using MAC’s Lipstick in the shade Gel or Tanarama.
So far, we have to say that we like the sound of it and can’t wait to try it for ourselves!
