Her 1989 album was one of the best selling albums in 2014 and 2015 and she has also sold over 40 million copies worldwide. The train to success doesn’t stop there for non other than 26 year-old singer, Taylor Swift. It is reported that the singer had sign a multi-year licensing deal with Glu-Mobile, yes, the same minds behind Kim Kardashian’s Hollywood game that made $127 million since it was released back in June 2014.
“Taylor is arguably the most popular person in the world with over 220 million social media followers” said Glu-Mobile’s chief executive Niccolo de Masi as they are hoping to see Taylor Swift’s game to be a hit in the app store charts by Christmas 2016.
While waiting for Swift’s game to come out, Glu-Mobile will release titles based on Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj, to see whether musicians can make the same amount of profit as reality-show celebrities do in the mobile games market.
