If you look back at the original trilogy, everyone was rooting for Princess Leia and Han Solo to make the hotshot couple. The brave, self-assuring and domineering princess teaming up with the “scruffy-looking”, mischievous, scoundrel sure did make Star Wars Episode IV, V, VI more interesting to watch.
Fast forward to Episode VIII, and we have fans worldwide, especially on Tumblr, rooting for Finn and Poe to get together! That’s right, they want the “bromance” taken to a new level. They even came up with a super couple nickname for Finn and Poe, wait for it, the Stormpilot!
However, British actor John Boyega (who plays Finn) has dashed all hopes of such a possibility, saying it’s “only bromance”. He went on to say that, “Oscar (Poe Dameron) wishes it was though, it’s all in his head. It’s a brotherly love, a bromance, that’s for sure.”
So it looks like we can only enjoy the blooming bromance between the two, since Disney will let no such thing happen. Sorry Stormpilot devotees!
