The new face of the BOSS eyewear campaign in Asia for Spring/Summer 2016 is Taiwanese-born Canadian actor, Eddie Peng. As one of Asia’s most incredibly talented actor, he was chosen for his energy and modern style, which was exactly what BOSS eyewear portrays.
Artistic Director, Jason Wu decided to study a focused element of the BOSS DNA for the Spring/Summer 2016 campaign; the contrasting effects of architecture and nature. Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the images embodied fresh, youthful spirit. The sunglasses created for the campaign (seen wearing by Eddie Peng) are crafted in an iconic pilot shape from an inventive combination of materials – a steel front frame and double carbon fiber temples structured with soft-to-the-touch rubber.
This is the first time that Eddie Peng has ever collaborated with an eyewear collection so this is something he definitely looks forward to, as he will be the public face of the BOSS Eyewear campaign in Asia.
