Gigi Hadid won as she went against fellow Victoria’s Secret angel, Devon Windsor on an episode of Masterchef Celebrity Showdown on Monday night. Hadid claimed that she ate a different burger once a week for a year when she first moved to New York to find the best tasting one and in preparation for Masterchef.
The supermodel whipped up a beef burger with pickled jalapeños, crispy onion nest and potato crisps on the side and won over Masterchef critic, Gordon Ramsay’s heart as he muttered the only words he could think of for the bombshell beauty, “Gigi, your burger is f—ing delicious!”
“I always say, eat clean to stay fit, have a burger to stay sane,” said the 20-year-old supermodel, showing her undying love for burgers. “Honestly… I only get starstruck over chefs” Hadid admitted. We would think so too if we grew up around A-list celebrities! Especially when you’re dating one of British’s total heartthrobs, Zayn Malik.
The supermodel donates her $25,000 prize to the Global Lyme Alliance for Lyme disease, “My mom, sister and brother are all affected by Lyme disease and not enough people know what Lyme disease is and the dangers of being bitten by an insect” she told the Masterchef judges.
