Carolina Herrera partners with internationally renowned photographer Mario Testino for the Spring 2016 global advertising campaign covering fashion and accessories product categories. Marking the second collaboration for the designer and photographer, the campaign imagery represents a single visual vocabulary for the strong codes of the brand, consistent with the creative vision established by founder Carolina Herrera.
The new campaign embraces the essence of the House covering Carolina Herrera New York, women’s ready-to-wear and CH Carolina Herrera, men’s and women’s lifestyle fashion and accessories. Set on an estate lawn overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the campaign story is inspired by heritage and family -capturing an authentic “fashionable” life, embracing style, whimsy and fun. It’s an international aesthetic of effortless elegance with a modern twist, an environment reflected in Carolina Herrera’s own surroundings.
Walking in the Carolina Herrera Spring 2016 runway show in September, supermodels Lily Aldridge and Romee Strijd embrace the collection’s spirit of modern femininity as they headline the campaign cast. Piero Tumbas Mendes and Emilio Pancheri join the cast set in a playful atmosphere – further evoking the refined irreverence of the campaign and setting the tone for the season ahead.
