Previously known as dude & the duchess, d.d collective is a creative collaboration between a passionate unit, several designers and crew, to create accessible apparel with street-cool edge and superior craftsmanship via seasonal and trend-setting collections.
For Spring/Summer 2016, this collective endeavour takes inspiration from the French Post-Impressionist painter Georges Seurat and unearths the fusion of delicate lace and vibrant prints. Staying true to the identity of dude & the duchess, this season’s lineup builds on the pointillism painting technique and cactus flower art that are popularised by Seurat.
d.d collective Spring/Summer 2016 collection is effortlessly distinct as the women’s range consists of many asymmetrical hemlines on skirts, dresses and even trousers, quaint overlapping of various fabrics, and intricate detailing, like the unexpected ruffles on the back of several separates.
The collection’s key looks for women include the Matelassé Bomber and Constructed Dress and the Elendra Light Blazer, Shirt and Tailored Trousers set, whereas the men’s Blotched Parka, Blistered Sweater and Tailored Drawstring Trousers are sure to be best-sellers.
d.d collective‘s Spring/Summer 2016 collection will be available from February 2016.
