2. You painted the wrong shade of blue
Yes, hues of blue can be calming and inviting but some can give a more depressing and dark feel. You want the kind of blue that’s inviting not one that will give a chilly vibe in your home.
3. Having a TV in your bedroom
Research have shown that couples who keep a television set in their bedroom has half the amount of sex compared to couples that don’t have TV in their bedroom. Ain’t nothing sexy about staring at a fluorescent box, so move the TV out of the bedroom!
4. Your home lacks potted plants
Nothing says home and makes a house more warm and inviting than the sight of potted plants. It really helps brighten the atmosphere and literally brings life into your home. It also helps purify the air, which is a major plus if you ask me. Potted plants are awesome, so get buyin’!
5. No lamps
If your only light source comes from the ceiling, you might find that it gives the spaces in your home a very cold vibe. Add some task lights here and there or some floor lamps to really amp up the vibe.
