Since Adele came back into the music world with her single “Hello,” the Internet has been going crazy and some also even took the time to pair her hit single with Lionel Richie’s iconic 1984 song with the same name. Even Richie himself joined in on the fun by posting a mashup clip on his Instagram account:
Looks like the two artists will be getting together to work on a project!
Richie mentions in an interview with E! News, “We are going to be doing something together — that’s already almost in the works.” Although he does say that this probably will not happen until Adele has finished touring, “Her mission is [to] get her record out and go on tour, so until she finishes that cycle, that won’t happen just yet. She is committed to that.”
Whatever it is, we absolutely cannot wait!
