1. TURN YOUR POWDER BLUSHER INTO A CREAMY ONE

There are many things you can DIY but when it comes to “making” your own makeup, you might need specific products. For example, if you want to turn your powder blusher into a creamy one, you would need some sort of special serum. But if you have a bottle of Bio-Oil lying around, simply mix a few drops of Bio-Oil with your powder blusher and dab it onto your cheeks. The result? A natural, healthy, pink glow. If you want a more matte finish, dab some loose powder on.

2. EASY-TO-MAINTAIN ALLURING EYES

Eyeshadow comes in not only many, many different colours and hues, but also textures. If you’re unlucky, you can end up with an entire palette that’s different to apply and blend. What a waste! Or not. Try mixing your eyeshadow with a few drops of Bio-Oil. It helps with the texture and therefore, makes the application and blending a whole lot easier. Also, it would make your alluring eye makeup a lot easier to maintain (no need for touchups or reapplications) and last for longer.

3. SAVE YOUR FAVOURITE MASCARA

Some people say that you can “recover” your favourite mascara by sticking the entire thing in a cup of hot water and letting it sit for a while. We’re not sure how effective that is but we do know that there’s a better way. Alternatively, you can put a few drops of Bio-Oil into the hardened or dried mascara and give it a good shake. Then marvel at how well it works. Who needs to buy new mascara every two months when yours can always be just like brand new?

4. CREATE YOUR OWN LUSCIOUS LIP GLOSS

We’ve had really bad experiences with some off-the-counter lip gloss! Have you ever come across those that has got, well, really appealing shades but at the same time, threaten to superglue your lips close because of its extreme stickiness? If you have a favourite lipstick, here’s what you can do: Mix your lipstick with a few drops of Bio-Oil and transform it into a lightly textured, highly moisturizing lip gloss. You may also experiment with different lipstick shades to create your own colour.
