Baking soda may be a common ingredient to use for baking and you can usually find it in the pantries of most houses. But did you know that there is more to baking soda than just being a baking ingredient? Baking soda is almost like a miracle because of all the things it can help you do. Clean Your Brushes – All you got to do is mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with a small tub of water and proceed to soak your brushes and combs in the solution. Rinse, dry and you’ll have squeaky clean hair brushes/combs that’s free of oil build-up.
Have Odour Free Sponges – Does your kitchen sponge reek of a stale stench? Mix 1 quart of warm water with 4 tablespoons of baking soda, and soak the sponge in. If you want it disinfected, chuck it in the microwave.
Deodorize Your Car – After a few months of using your new car, that new smell goes away and is replaced with all sorts of scents. Your car can smell especially unpleasant if you smoke in the car. All you got to do to get rid of that unwanted smell is place a box of baking soda, but be sure to poke holes on the top of the box. Leave in the car overnight.
