Who doesn’t love a good beauty trick? All women do as it can come handy, especially when you need it most, which is why we have compiled a list of useful beauty tips and tricks for you ladies! Whether you want to grow out your bangs without looking awkward or tame your eyebrows, we have got you covered. Our list of beauty tips will keep you looking your best:
Shave with conditioner – Forget fancy shaving foams. If you lather some conditioner and shave, you’ll find yourself with legs that are smoother than a baby’s bottom.
Grow out your bangs with style – Everyone hates that phase of growing out bangs but all you got to do is sweep them sideways!
Keep your brows in line – Spray a tiny bit of hairspray on an old toothbrush or a clean mascara wand and brush your brows. This saves you time and money! Your eyebrows will also be on fleek!
Say goodbye to makeup sponges – Did you know that makeup sponges soak up foundation more than what ends up on your face? Chuck out the sponges and go with a foundation brush instead. You will waste less foundation and save more money!
Wear sunscreen – Have you ever heard of that song called “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen)”? That song couldn’t be any more true because even when it’s not sunny 80% of the sun’s UV rays pass through the clouds. So, rain or shine, wear sunscreen!
Add glamour to your hair – Don’t spend a bomb dying your hair to make it look glamorous for a fancy night out. Just add some dazzling accessory and you’re good to go.
Prep your eyelids – Keep your eyeshadow or any eye product on for longer by prepping your lids with eyeshadow primer. This helps keep anything you apply on for longer.
Have hair that smells great – Pick up your favourite oil-based fragrance and splash some on your hands. Run your fingers through your hair to have scent your strands!
Lighten your hair without going to the salon – Looking to save a few pennies but want lighter hair? Mix some fresh lemon juice with chamomile tea and rinse your hair with it. Dry your hair in the sun or with a blow dryer, the heat from either one will help lighten your tresses.
Eliminate puffy eyes – Depuff your eyes with raw sliced potatoes. The enzyme catalase in the potatoes will also help lighten your dark circles.
Keep your hair grease-free – You’ve probably heard it over and over again: It’s better NOT to wash your hair everyday. If you have the type of hair that’s gets greasy after a day of not being washed then use some dry shampoo. It helps a lot and your hair will look voluminous too!
Ice cubes are a thing of beauty – They (beauty experts) say that massaging an ice cube all over your face until it melts is highly recommended. By doing this every night, you’re keeping fat cells, wrinkles and acne at bay!
Make your manicure last – Want your nails looking pretty for a longer period of time? Then always remember to apply top coat and once it’s dried, do it once more. This prevents your nail polish from chipping and will definitely make it last longer.
Get soft heels – Always keep a pumice stone ready in your bathroom and scrub away once you’re in the shower. Apply foot cream (we actually prefer Vaseline) and then put on a pair of socks while getting ready before heading out or even before bed.
Pump up your eyeliner game – Who doesn’t love the classic black eyeliner. But if you’re not in the mood to dress up but want to look like you’ve made some sort of effort, then go for a sparkly liquid eyeliner.
Pat it dry – If you’re used to rub-drying your hair with a towel, stop immediately. This move will cause your hair to frizz. What you should be doing is squeeze out the excess hair before jumping out of the shower and pat your hair dry to absorb moisture.
Get sexy with red lips – Even if you have minimal makeup and dressed super casual, having red lips will immediately add some drama and sexiness to your entire look.
Don’t over apply – When it comes to moisturizer, it takes quite a while for it to soak into your skin. So, always go modest and apply only a dime-sized amount.
Clean your brushes – If you don’t clean your makeup brushes, dirt and bacteria will build up, which can make your skin susceptible to breaking out. So, remember to clean your brushes often.
Smile often – Best beauty tip of all: smile. Nothing looks better than a smile!
