Recently news have been going around about Rebel Wilson and how she refused to work with Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Wilson, an Australian native is known for her comedic roles and she says that what the Kendall and Kylie represent is “totally against what I stand for.”
The Kardashians may be one of the most famous families in the world but that doesn’t phase Wilson at all. Currently based in Los Angeles, the actress said that she runs into members from the famous family more often than not.
The Pitch Perfect star revealed to KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O that when she was asked to present an award alongside Kendall and Kylie Jenner at the MTV VMA’s, immediately declined on the idea.
She said to the radio duo: “I said no, I said I’d do it myself. What they stand for is totally against what I stand for. They seem a bit superficial and their careers aren’t really based on talent.”
Wilson also points out that between her and Kim Kardashian, there is a vast difference on how each of them achieved fame. She said, “I know they’re super popular, but I’m all about personality and working hard to get to where I am. How Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard.”
