For 2015-2016, Aesop has curated six seasonal gift kits revolving the eighty-eight ‘modern’ constellations identified in the 1922 by the International Astronomical Union – Auriga, Cepheus, Perseus, Andromeda, Delphinus and Cassiopeia – and the Greek myths they correlate with.
They embody the ancient fascination that intersects science, mythology and arts. More than anything, this theme signifies our connections with one another – highlighting the sharing of the night sky no matter the hemisphere we live in, but also the human ‘constellations’ we form via our relationships.
These gift kits are bundled in reusable tin boxes and wrapped in sleeves that feature a graphic representation of each constellation and myths related to it. The range consists of a set of Geranium Leaf Body Care formulations, a Hand and Body Care quartet, and a trio of full-sized products from the anti-oxidant Parsley Seed Skin Care range.
Throughout its stores and official website come November and December 2015, Aesop will also infuse these creative elements into all of its expressions.
