Bell & Ross have taken aircraft instrumentation as their main source of inspiration from the very start but for their new vintage collection, Bell & Ross are taking inspiration from the style of racing drivers of the seventies.
The line will consist of two vintage BR GT models, BR 123 GT and BR 126 GT with a neo-retro look. The watches will be housed in a 42mm case with a modern design in steel and satin finishes. Like, the brand’s iconic BR01 aviation inspired model, the Vintage BR GT holds a graphic design that hints at the dashboard and instruments found in a 1970s car.
The pitch black dial creates a contrast with the steel colour of the auxiliary counters and appliqué indices. The hands of the watch are in a facetted, photo-lumininescent finish. Like the timepieces from the 70s, the two Vintage BR GT watches feature a ultra-curved high-dome sapphire crystal with two layers of anti-reflective coating.
