Dolce & Gabbana pays tribute to all mothers in their new Autumn/Winter 2015/16 eyewear collection. The Mama’s Brocade collection draws inspiration from the island of Sicily to give a vintage effect. Frames of brocade detailing bring out baroque palazzi in a sophisticated monochrome version and a floral version decorated with bouquets of red roses.

The DG4275H model is the Mama’s Brocade, the standout piece of the entire collection. This model is limited edition and has only 500 pieces. The frames are presented in a box with a pouch and bag made in brocade fabric with a floral print.
Next in line, is DG4267, the Sicilian brocade has acetate frames to emphasise the embosed texture and is on the forefront of a neutral, fabric-effect background. The model is available in 4 colour combinations; black with gradient grey lenses, red with brown gradient lenses, powder with brandy-coloured gradient lenses and petrol green with brown gradient lenses. The frames come in a box with a fabric pouch and bag.
The DG3239 model holds a rectangular optical frame in acetate which is enhanced by a baroque decoration on the temples. The frames are also set on a neutral, fabric-effect background. This model has a warm colour palette which includes, black, red, petrol green and chocolate. The frames come in a box with a fabric pouch and bag.
DG4270 is designed with white and red roses on a black background to create a romantic vibe. These sunglasses are square framed and are available in four different colour combinations: exterior in floral motif, black inner section and grey gradient; black with internal floral motif and grey gradient lenses; petrol green with internal floral motif and green lenses; red with internal floral motif and grey lenses or white with internal floral motif and silver mirror lenses.
DG3246 is a cat-eye sunglasses model in acetate. The floral motif is made up of white and red roses on a black background to give a romantic and feminine feel. The model is available with the floral motif print across the front section and temples or in black, red or petrol green with an internal floral print.
DG3242 has a subtle profile of Panto optical frames to create a refined vibe with a front section and temple ends in acetate to contrast with the vintage feel of the gold metal temples. The model comes with a classic black and Havana brown option and the frames are also available in grey, green or sand marble effect.
DG4268 has an acetate front section and temple ends to compliment the gold metal temples. The colour combinations available range from black to classic Havana brown and also come with a grey, green or sand marble effect.
