Kate Spade New York had just debuted their Spring 2016 collection at New York Fashion Week. Guest stars like Anna Kendrick, Lindsay Ellingson, Mercedes Mason and Zelda Williams all attended the showcase.
The spring 2016 collection was heavily inspired by the intersection of daydreams and day trips. To bring in the light of Spring, Kate Spade brought in flowers from roses to daisies, Kate Spade matched florals, ribbon stripes and lace. The colours of the collection were inspired by a fun fair with pink, blue, yellow and a beige pop against the classic New York City black and white background.
For this season, Kate Spade decided to collaborate with FTD to provide the flowers for the Spring 2016 presentation. The floral company helped handpick 30,000 flowers to match Kate Spade’s New York Spring 2016 collection’s colour palette. The colours that were displayed during the presentation were bright pink gerber daisies, blue hydrangeas, yellow tulips and roses in a range of different colours from white to orange to yellow and hot pink. Guests attending the event also walked away with a bouquet of flowers arranged in front of them at the custom flower bar.
