The Body Shop Brings The Spa Of The World To Your Very Own Bathroom

The Body Shop has introduced their new Spa Of The World range, which will bring the most treasured ancient beauty rituals from around the world to your very own bathroom to create the perfect personal spa.

First in the range is the African Ximena Scrub that is priced at RM145 for a 350ml tub. This product uses the Ximenia tree, also known as the “Tree of Life” in Africa as its main ingredient. The scrub uses its oil which provides skin-softening properties, leaving skin feeling smooth after a gentle exfoliation with the product.

The Egyptian Milk & Honey Bath takes inspiration from the renowned milk and honey bath beauty ritual used by Cleopatra in ancient Egypt. To run this bath, you pour a scoop of the powder under running water. This bath promotes soft skin and relaxation. The product goes for RM125 for 250g.

Next, we have the French Lavender Massage Oil, this product is meant to bring out the relaxing powers of lavender that will help you sleep. This was mostly used in France by King Charles VI in the 14th century. The massage oil goes for RM99 and comes in an 170ml bottle.

The Japanese Camellia Cream which is priced at RM230 for a 350ml bottle is an oil made from the camellia flower that has been used by women since the 8th century. This oil is supposed to provide moisture and softness to the skin while leaving a subtle fragrance.

The spa range also offers the Polynesian Monoi Radiance Oil, which is a blend of coconut oil and tiare flowers. This blend has been used by Polynesian women for over two thousand years to give a glowing complexion to the skin and hair. A 170ml bottle of this oil costs RM129.

Lastly, in the range we have the Hawaiian Kukui Cream, which has been used by Hawaiian women for generations to nurture their skin. The kukui oil used in the cream is said to nurture and restore the skin leaving it nourished and glowing. The cream comes in a tub of 350ml and is priced at RM230.
