Australian singer, Sia showcases her impressive vocal skills in her first single “Alive” from her upcoming album This Is Acting.
The track co-written by singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. and Adele was originally meant for Adele’s hotly anticipated third album, however, Adele had rejected the song at the last minute according to Billboard. Although Adele had rejected the track, Sia has written another track for British Singer Adele’s new LP.
Just like “Alive”, most of the songs in the album will include songs that were originally intended for other artists such as, Beyoncé and Rihanna. Sia has said that this album will be “much more pop” and she has called it This Is Acting because the songs on the album were songs she had written for other people and so she says, “It’s more like play acting. It’s fun.”
A release date for the album has yet to be released.
