Everybody knows baby powder keeps the skin soft, smooth and smelling fresh, but did you know that there’s more to baby powder than just that? There are so many household problems that can be easily resolved by using baby powder. Here are some of them:

Tangled jewellery
Do you have a knotted necklace that you’ve been wanting to wear but can’t be bothered to sit there and untie the devil’s knot? All you have to do is sprinkle some baby powder and pull the knots apart with a pin.

Oily hair
Not keen on washing your hair everyday but hate that it gets greasy and shiny? Have you run out of your favourite bottle of shampoo? If that’s the problem then just reach for some baby powder. Most dry shampoos are starch-based, so sprinkle some onto your hands and massage into your hair. It will have exactly the same effect as using a dry shampoo, plus your hair will look great.

Smelly furniture
If you have old furniture and they reek of that musty smell then simply mist some baby powder. Not only will it rid of the pungent scent but will also keep your clothes smelling fresh.

Oily stains
If you’ve spilled some oil-based stain on to your new dress, don’t fret or chuck it in the bin. Instead just sprinkle some baby powder on the stain to absorb it before you wash it as per normal.

Lifeless lashes
Are your lashes lacking some of that va-va-voom? A lot of beauty bloggers swear by this trick for a full and voluminous lashes: Use a cotton swap to dab some baby powder on your lashes in between mascara application. Instant lash volume!

Sweaty feet
Have you noticed that when wearing flats, your feet seem to sweat extra? Of course till will eventually lead to gross smelling shoes, so to defeat this issue, just sprinkle some of the stuff in your shoes. You won’t even need socks and your sweaty feet days are far behind you.
