Early this morning, we caught the screening for one of the most anticipated animated films of the year, courtesy of United International Pictures Malaysia.
They say that curiosity kills the cat but oh no, definitely not one intrepid young reporter named, Tintin and his equally curious dog, Snowy. While other reporters are all about looking for good stories, Tintin has a relentless pursuit for a good stories coupled with a crazy thirst for high adventure.
Quite literally, he has a knack for chasing down a story, grabbing it by its neck, and then dragging it back to his work desk where it is moulded and whipped into an award-winning tale. Oh and also, he does get into quite a fair sum of trouble in his pursuits.
In “The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn” (the first of the three planned “Tintin” films by Academy Award® winner Steven Spielberg and Oscar® winning Peter Jackson), Tintin, Snowy, and their adventure comes strikingly close to real-life with jaw-dropping animation and impressive computer graphics. In a star-studded 3D experience, everything from the hair on Tintin’s head, to the ship sailing the sea, and even to the sand dunes seemed so real, it was good enough to touch!
We know what you’re thinking – “Sand dunes? Huh? What sand dunes?”. We’re not giving it away. You’ll just have to catch it when it comes out a cinema near you on the 10th of November 2011! And while you’re waiting, don’t forget to join our movie contest!
Dare we say that it’s another level of storytelling altogether? Why, yes! All levels of escalating levels of thrills and peril included! We do have one question though, where can we get a dog just like Snowy?
