We’ve seen many weird trends lately, but nothing beats this. This surfaced recently on social media with guys and girls modelling in nothing but plastic bags. Locals in Taiwan started spreading photos in a closed Facebook group known as 爆料公社.
The cheap and recyclable DIY swimsuits are cutouts of major convenience store plastic bags such as 7-Eleven and Carrefour. A 27-year-old Taiwanese nightclub owner was one of the first to upload a picture of him wearing a Carrefour plastic bag. Zheng-xing said he didn’t expect anything, but wanted to get more involvement, especially from the girls.
