Who would’ve guessed that a gastronomic tradition would be the answer to skin clarity? KOSÉ has incorporated the use of Koji Acid, found in Koji, a type of mould spore, in a few of its new whitening skincare series including INFINITY KOSÉ Realizing White XX and COSME DECORTE Whitelogist MX.
Thanks to unique fermentation, KOSÉ is able to extract 100% pure Kojic Acid, which whitens the skin more effectively with deeper penetration via smaller molecules. Kojic Acid is found to be effective in controlling and lightening various kinds of pigmentation caused by UV exposure, inflammation, hormonal changes, stress, visceral imbalance and genes.
One of those products that include the Kojic Acid is the INFINITY KOSÉ Realizing White Stick XX. This stick-type serum consists of a highly adhesive oil and Kojic Acid that can be applied directly to the skin areas prone to blemishes and dark spots. The formula intensely targets the root cause of pigmentation spots, and its rich formula isn’t sticky whatsoever.
Aside from that, Kojic Acid is also incorporated in Whitelogist MX, a whitening serum under COSME DECORTE. It works hand in hand with active ingredient m-CLOSER to get deep into the skin to prevent dark spots and freckles, creating a bright illuminating white complexion.
Another active ingredient utilised by KOSÉ is Liposome, which is a capsule bubble made of phospholipids, the same material as a cell membrane, measuring 0.1 to 0.2 microns. Much smaller than skin cells, Liposome provides moisturising properties and can be filled with active ingredients to transport nutrients to targeted areas on the skin.
COSME DECORTE introduces the new Liposome Treatment Liquid, the first multi-layered liposome lotion that instantly improves a weakened outermost layer of the epidermis. This lotion addresses roughness, dryness and dullness in aging skin, as well as irregular texture caused by the weakening of the stratum corneum.
The treatment lotion helps refine skin texture, minimise pores, add clarity to the skin, and enhance the skin’s moisture retention ability. On top of that, the formula also includes anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidation properties to boost cell activity and stimulate production of natural chemicals in the skin to promote the formation of healthy keratin layer.
