Once popularly known as Reshmonu, Resh is back to conquer the music industry on an international level with his new EP album. When asked about his new stage name, Resh mentioned that it originates from his given name, which is Hiresh. In line with his new music and totally fresh image, Resh hopes to stand out and continue to get the support of his loyal fans.
Even though he has been a little quiet in the scene lately, Resh has been working hard on his EP album that is slated to be released in the third quarter of this year. The seven-track album will include his latest single, “Half The Man”, and is put together alongside acclaimed producer Jim Beanz, who has worked with various artists such as Katy Perry, P Diddy, Shakira and Jamie Foxx.
His first single of the album, “Half The Man”, hasn’t only been playing on Malaysian radio. The emotional track, which illustrates the feeling of losing something or someone you love, has also been distributed in the Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore.
“Half The Man” reminds us of heartbreaks and separation, and it is sure to captivate the hearts of listeners. On top of that, this track, produced together with Jim Beanz, exudes a more mature and fresh sound that is progressively becoming more popular and relevant in the market.
Aside from working on his EP album, Resh also produced Tamil music over the past four years and formed a vocal group called Ashtaka, which proved to be a success as the band was nominated for the Archive of Indian Music (AIM). Aside from that, Resh has been busy juggling his family and busy schedule, as well as practicing Crossfit to keep himself fit and active.
