Just one week after actress Amber Heard and her husband Johnny Depp filed for divorce, news surfaced that Amber Heard is a victim of domestic violence.
Amber claimed to be a repeated victim of domestic violence, and said she endured at least three domestic abuse incidents in the past six months of living with her ex-husband. She also said that she ‘lived in fear’ and was terrified whenever Johnny Depp would return home, as he would ‘terrorize’ her physically and emotionally.
The Danish Girl actress also took several photos of her bruised face, claiming that it was the doing of her 52-year old husband during the course of their relationship.
As of last Friday, Amber Heard has managed to secure a temporary restraining order against her former husband Johnny Depp, granted by the judge at the Superior Court of California County. Amber attended the court session with her lawyer, Samantha Spector.
Johnny Depp was absent from the court as he is currently busy promoting his new movie, Alice Through The Looking Glass. At the time of writing, the actor has neither confirmed nor denied these allegations.
