Not again! Residents in certain areas of Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya will face a short water disruption from March 29 to 30 due to some upgrading works that will be carried out. This doesn’t look good as we’re stuck with the heatwave, and it looks like the haze is about to hit us.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) in a statement said the 20-hour disruption is due to upgrading of equipment and would commence from 6am (March 29) until 2pm (March 30). Normal service would resume between 8 and 72 hours in various locations depending on the distance from the water reservoir.
Some of the areas that will be affected are Bangsar, KL Sentral, Brickfields, Lucky Garden, Mid Valley, Pantai Hospital, Bukit Bandaraya, Section 16, 17, 17A, 12, and Kampung Kerinchi, among others.
Contact Syabas for more information regarding the water disruption, and look for back up plans now!
