The makers of home paints, AkzoNobel has announced its colour of the year for next year and it’s a lovely, soft yet vibrant shade called Copper Orange! This colour selection is in line with major trends that have been identified for next year and this includes warmth in attitude and a renewed emphasis on sharing; the natural palette of the earth, from clay tones to sunlit highlights of yellow; the skin tones that reflect human interaction and the sepia hues of the past. Copper Orange is a beautiful shade that exudes warmth and has the ability to liven up a room whether you choose to use the colour in its entirety or accents of it.
The shade of Copper Orange is classified under metallics thanks to its vibrant sheen. The experts at AkzoNobel have spotted a trend where metallic colour tones have become increasingly important in modern design and a richer, warmer spectrum of pinks, reds and oranges are emerging, thus reflecting a more positive global outlook. After all, everyone needs a burst of brightness in their lives and Copper Orange is a reflection of that principle.
