Poor Justin Bieber was detained at his Calabasas, California mansion on the 14th of January as 11 cop cars descended at his home to execute a felony search warrant for vandalism. The pop star’s neighbour claims that Bieber had trespassed his property and had caused US$20,000 worth of damage by pelting the home with 20 eggs.
If you were to do a bit of calculations, one egg pretty much costs US$1,000. That sum sounds a little ridiculous, but remember, anyone living next to Bieber’s mansion must have some top notch doors, windows and walls.
The 19-year-old troubled superstar was apparently sound asleep with five or six other house guests when an officer came knocking on his door. He also had to be calmed down as he was trying to find out what was going on. However, E! Online reports that he wasn’t being disrespectful in any way.
Although it is unconfirmed whether or not Bieber was really involved in the egg-throwing incident, the authorities are still looking for evidence in his home linking him and his pals to the damage caused at his neighbour’s home. Should the police find anything suspicious, Bieber could still land in hot water.
Bieber’s friend Lil Za, however, was arrested for cocaine possession. Police then stated that the coke was in “plain view” and that Bieber was not connected to it.
