Don’t you think that it’s about time? Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has recently been named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2013 and it was announced on an episode of The Voice, which is the Emmy-winning singing competition show that Levine coaches.
“As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table,” the singer tells People about being given the sought-after title in this week’s issue. “I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool,” he added.
The 34-year old hunk has had quite a year as he had toured with Maroon 5 and entertained audiences on The Voice. He also got engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo after admitting that he didn’t believe in the idea of marriage.
“I didn’t think marriage was for me for a long time,” he told People. “I was ready when I was ready. That’s about as simple as it could possibly be.”
Levain steals the crown from Channing Tatum, who was last year’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for People magazine.
