Everyone’s raving about the cronut – a pastry hybrid that involves the light, buttery pastry of a croissant, and the hard-to-miss shape of the donut. To top it off, the cronut is also deep-fried the way donuts are.
A trademark creation by baker Dominique Ansel, the cronut has taken New York city by storm, with over two-hour-long lines of people just waiting to get a taste of the cronut. If you’ve been waiting to get your tastebuds tantalized by this new food trend, you’ll be happy to know that one Malaysian bakery in particular, will be selling these sinful pastries in Kuala Lumpur.

Delectable by Su, an adorable little cake store in The Gardens is putting its foot down in giving KL-ites the chance to taste what New Yorkers are queuing up for. Being the first outlet in Kuala Lumpur to sell cornets, you can get flavors like caramel praline, lemon strawberry and coconut kaya, and they’re available at RM10 each.
Unfortunately, the cronut will only be available until the end of July, so you’ll need to head over there right now if you want to get a taste of these babies! (Sources)
