It’s one thing to consider Kim Kardashian, but to carve a statue inspired by her and then make it a good luck charm for the world? Now that’s rich with creep factors right there.
Celebrity artist Daniel Edwards sculpted a statue titled “L.A. Fertility” that portrays the figure of pregnant Kim Kardashian without arms. Her belly and arms of course, are enormous.
Edwards explained that the statue was in response to all the criticism Kim received since she was pregnant.
“I was inspired by the beauty of Kim Kardashian and felt quite put-off by the media’s criticism of her weight gain during pregnancy”.
“Such criticism should be off limits”.
He further explained: “People tend to look at the parts, like the crease in her armpits, or how she wore a dress that makes her look like a killer whale”.
“I’m stripping it off the details people get stuck on, so they can see the beauty”.
The sculpture can be found at the LAB ART Gallery in Los Angeles, along with a bronze of Kim and Kanye West’s baby in utero with a “swirl design pattern” shaved in the baby’s hair. (Source)
Visitors are encouraged to rub the statue’s belly for good luck. We’ve yet to hear any details about Kim’s reaction to the statue, but we’ll just have to wait.
