The Royal Wedding of Johor’s gorgeous Princess, HH Tunku Tunku Tun Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Ibrahim with her handsome partner Encik Dennis Muhammad Abdullah today, has stolen the hearts of many.

In a privately held celebration, Tunku Aminah’s betrothal began with an engagement ceremony, which is then followed by the solemnisation ceremony from 10am at Bukit Serene Palace, Johor Bahru.
Both ceremonies are steeped in Johor royal tradition and customs, with the bride donning a traditional ‘Baju Kurung Teluk Belanga’ and the groom wearing the ‘Baju Melayu Teluk Belanga’. Introduced in late 19th century during the reign of the late Sultan Sir Abu Bakar, the outfit has no collar and the neckline is stitched in a style known as ‘tulang belut’ (eel’s spine).
Her Highnesss’ father, the Sultan of Johor — Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar arrived into the palace compound at about 8.45am in his uber cool Rolls Royce automobile. Also spotted, lavish vehicles carrying Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tunku Temenggong Johor, Tunku Idris Iskandar and Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail who arrived at 9.47pm.
The royal affair was also attented by Johor Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin and Johor’s State Legislative Assemblies Speaker Tan Sri Mohamad Aziz.
Meanwhile, the Johor Princess has revealed that she is getting her new home ready for a new chapter in her life as a married woman. It will be a new experience for her – to live with her husband-to-be, Dutch-born Dennis Muhammad Abdullah after their wedding today.
“We will move into our own home and start life anew as husband and wife,” she told the Royal Press Office. “This will be the first time I will be living alone, and away from my parents and family,” she added.
Members of the public can take part in the live ceremony at Grand Court Room, Istana Besar Johor Bahru tonight through the giant digital screens located at Dataran Bandaraya and the Johor Bahru City Council building (MBJB).

Moreover, a Khatm Quran ceremony was held to gain blessing for the royal wedding, at Bukit Serene Palace yesterday (13 August).
Queen of Johor, Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah were present, along with Tengku Puan Pahang Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Binti Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and Perak Royal Relatives, as well as wives of Johor district officials.
Tunku Tun Aminah performed a special sura reading followed by other guests and ended with a prayer read by Tunku Tun Aminah’s Quran teacher, Ustazah Hajah Raimah Binti Kemat.
