The Wanted was here in Kuala Lumpur recently for their concert at Surf Beach @ Sunway Lagoon on 18th September. And for our lovely readers, we managed to get up-close and personal with Siva, Max, Jay, Tom and Nathan for a short interview. From crazy fan-girls to their ideal date, read on and we’ll even let you know whose available and who isn’t!
What do you think about your Malaysian fans?
Max : They were really really loud
Siva: There was a fan when we were leaving, she was so excited, and instead of waving goodbye, she did two cartwheels. That’s amazing!
What was the craziest thing a fan has ever done for you guys?
Jay: When Siva was moving house, there was a girl attempting to meet him. And when the van was unattended, she got inside it and got into a box. So, she was moved as furniture into his new home. And when he was getting everything out, he was like “WOAH, IT’S A FAN”! (Jay looks at Siva) How was that?
Siva : It was great! She was all rosy cheeks, and she was sweating. I got a picture with her..
Max: One girl paid us 10,000 Pounds to interview us for two minutes
Are there any Asian artists you’d like to perform with in the future?
Jay : PSY for sure!
Tom: 2NE1..They’re great
Will you be collaborating with any artists in the future?
Tom: Chris Brown has asked to work with us, which is kinda cool!
How would you describe your perfect girlfriend or the perfect date?
Tom: Angelina Jolie for me!
Siva: Jessica Alba!
What are the most important qualities you look for in a girl?
Siva: Jessica Alba!
Jay: I’ll give the perfect example..It’s Mila Kunis for me. She’s heavenly beautiful, but I think she is kinda tough. And I think she probably likes to party and she could sink her beer as quick as I could. I want that sort of type..Someone I could have fun with. I know Nathan likes some Disney style girls. Skipping around with flowers down the beach!
Nathan: That’s creepy! It think it’s all about personality for me. Somebody who is really quite cute and got a really good sense of humor. I don’t like girls who are very in-your-face because that kinda scares me a bit.
Tom: I like the type of girl who is full of life and energy.
Max : I like girls who like animals.
Siva: A good cook.
So, who is the cleanest and the messiest of the whole group?
Jay: I think Siva is always immaculate. And I think Tom is kinda like a tornado!
Tom: I’m happy with that..*smiles*
So, the most important question..Who is single and who is not?
Jay: Single!
Nathan: Single!
Tom: Not..
Max: Single
Siva: Not!
