Shopping is steadily becoming one of the average Malaysian women’s favourite pastimes. The current mad rush of the Malaysian Mega Sale isn’t exactly helping our cause either. It has come to a point where we’re not sure if sales are supposed to help us save money or..spend more money.
But in essence, we love discounts. We love a good bargain.
Some of us, when we travel to places like Bangkok, for example, we know well enough to be armed with a trusty pair of walking shoes, lots of moolah, and good bargaining power – especially when we hit up shopping centers like Platinum Fashion Mall.
The wholesale mall has six floors which are spilling with small outlets of women’s clothing and accessories. It’s hard not to go absolutely berserk because the items are set at very reasonable prices provided if they are bought in bulk (more than three items).
Some Platinum Fashion Mall retail outlets even allow you to mix and match different items such as tops, bags, and shoes. So, yes, you could say that it’d be pretty easy to end up with the same pair of shoes in three different colours.
The same applies to Mangga Dua in Jakarta. The home to thousands of retailers is the largest wholesale complex in Asia and it offers all the things you need and don’t need at crazily low prices.
Mangga Dua is filled to the brim with an extensive range of electronic goods, clothes, shoes, cosmetics, clothes, clothes, and more clothes. Needless to say, the wholesale shopping haven is one of the most paced up and packed up areas in Jakarta.
Expect madness when you walk into the mall.
And expect madness when you walk into Malaysia’s very own wholesale shopping district, Kenang Wholesale City!
(Bet you didn’t see that one coming)
With more than 800 lots and 500,000 sq. ft. of retail space, Kenanga Wholesale City is all set to be Malaysia’s first one-stop fashion wholesale shopping centre! In there, you shopaholics will find a large directory of stores such as fashion, accessories, shoes, lingerie, gifts, other trinkets, things you need, things you don’t need, things you don’t need but want, so on and so forth.
Yes, that means a myriad of styles and a few hundred ways to shop, shop, and shop all under one roof. It also means a few hundred ringgits less in your purse but hey, who’s really counting when there are such great bargains?
Right?
And in a few hours, our purses are going to weight a lot lighter when we hit up Kenanga Wholesale City in the heart of Kuala Lumpur for an exclusive preview tour! Yes, us. Lipstiq.
