Check your calendars; Christmas is only about two months away. So soon! And this leaves you even less time to come up with gift ideas, draw up a Christmas shopping list, and hit the stores. We know, we know, it’s the most wonderful time of the year but do you find yourself pressed for Christmas gift ideas every year?
Maybe Kiehl’s can help you, while you help them help a children’s cause!
Hand-in-hand with Jeff Koons, one of the foremost internationally recognized contemporary artists of our time, Kiehl’s is proudly announcing its 3rd annual limited edition “Crème de Corps Holiday Collection”. With the shared vision of creating safer, sustainable, and positive environments for children, Kiehl’s pledged to donate USD200,000 (RM620,000) of the proceeds to “The Koons Family Institute” on International Law and Policy, an initiative of the “International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children” (ICMEC).
The ICMEC was founded in 1998 and was launched by the U.S.-based “National Center for Missing & Exploited Children” to identify and coordinate a global network of organizations fighting child exploitation including child trafficking, child pornography, and child abduction.
Through this partnership with ICMEC and Jeff Koons, the Kiehl’s donation will:
• Convince countries to join and adhere to international conventions protecting children.
• Help meet ICMEC’s goal of putting in place national-level programs and operational centers for missing and exploited children, in every region of the globe.
• Expand ICMEC’s work into additional countries, helping to enact powerful laws against child pornography in dozens of countries.
In the previous holiday initiatives (two worldwide holiday campaigns), Kiehl’s successfully raised a whopping USD400,000 (RM1,240,000) and this year, they continue to protect and nurture our children’s place in the community. The 3rd annual limited edition “Crème de Corps Holiday Collection” collection is comprised of the classic, most hydrating, rich body moisturizer and a brand new offering for 2011:
The limited edition Jeff Koons bottle art. A scaled reference to his iconic “Balloon Flower” sculpture, designed to adorn the “Creme de Corps” bottle top.
Do you want to help make the world a better place for children? This would be a good start! Christmas is, after all, a time and season of giving.
