Previously, we shared a piece on removing stubborn eye makeup. This time around, we’ll let you in on one of our best kept secrets.
After a long day (and night) out, you come home to find that you’ve run out of eye makeup remover. Gasp! And it’s too late to head out to buy some. Double gasp! And you need some sort of “rescue mission” because you definitely cannot be going to bed with “smokey eyes” (as alluring as they may be).
Quick. Run down to your kitchen. And do the following:
1. Combine two tablespoons of canola oil and 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
2. Dab a cotton pad/cotton ball into the oil. Always use cotton and not tissue! Tissue will damage your skin from wear and tear in a long run.
3. Wipe your eyelid and eyelashes to remove eye makeup.
4. Rinse with warm water.
Quite easily done! May we also add, that it’s also a great way to save money on expensive makeup removers!
